Today I will mostly be growing

This is the start of the new Sowing Season on my raised bed Plot 1 - Root and Salad Vegetables.
Heres what has been sown so far:-

Sown 09.02.08

• Carrot (2nd row from back of plot) Amsterdam Forcing 3,
• Parsnip (row at the far back of plot) Countess F1
• Spring Onion (Bottom right) North Holland Red Blood
• Radish (Bottom left) French Breakfast 3

Sown 08.03.08

• Beetroot (Bottom right behind radish) Boltardy
• Spring Onions (Bottom left behind red spring onions) Paris Silverskin
• Lettuce (right middle) Balmoral
• Spinach (right middle) Tirza F1

Carrots (Autumn King 3) remain in the plot from sowings made last Aug/Sept. These were removed on 08.03.08.

Sown 29.03.08

• 1st sowing of Carrot (james scarlet intermediate),
• 2nd sowing of Parsnip (countess F1), Radish and Red Spring Onion.

Sown 12.04.08

• 2nd sowings of Beetroot, Carrot (amsterdam forcing), Lettuce, Spinach and white spring onion.

Sown 03.05.08

• 2nd sowing of Carrot (james scarlet intermediate)
